One blanket. Fifty US states. Many countries. Hundreds of families. One common thread!

On The Road Again!

The afghan is moving on to our next family in a day or two! Little Miss Mayson grew quite attached to the T21 Traveling Afghan, so I whipped her up one of her own and it is on it's way as of today!

Once Amy gets it, she will be shipping it off to the next family! I am working on making an extra afghan or two to keep on hand in the event that another child has troubles with passing the afghan on. This way we can keep things rolling!

There is now no doubt the afghan has been held and loved!

That has to make you feel so good that you touch a little girl in such a big way : )

I spread the word on CafeMom in my T21 groups. That is over 1600 families, so hopefully the rest of the states get covered!

An Afghan Of Their Own Fund

This fund has been created through The T21 Traveling Afghan Project in order to provide afghans for children with Down syndrome who are ill or facing other challenges.

This money goes towards purchasing yarn and covering the shipping costs of the afghan. You may make a donation towards a specific child or donate to the fund in general.

When you donate, the child will be sent a card with your name on it and you will be informed as to which child your donation provided an afghan to.

If you are interesting in donating to An Afghan Of Their Own Fund, please contact me at chandosjoy@gmail.com
