Fundraisers and The Conference, Oh My!
First and foremost, please check out the following two fundraisers to help raise money for some amazing families!
Both fundraisers include a donation for an afghan of their own for the winning bidder, donated by myself.
The first is Lily's birthday bash! Lily is turning ten years old on July 27th and is helping to raise money for her friends, Parker and Jaxson.
Then we have a fundraiser being run by Dawn of Mama Monkmee for Phoenix!
In other news, Sheridan's family (Genitically Enhanced) will be bringing the Traveling Afghan to the big NDSC conference in California next week! I can't wait to see the pictures of all the hands that get a chance to hold the afghan!
The afghan will hang around California for awhile and then head off to South Dakota for their annual Buddy Walk!
I have fallen behind on the queue for An Afghan Of Their Own, but I have picked up my hook and am back at it! I apologize for the delay, but life takes precedence over hooking, even when it is the cutest kids in the world waiting for their 'ghans!
Hopefully I will have the queue cleared out before the end of August, if not sooner!
