Summer Update

Things have slowed down a bit on the Traveling Afghan front, as well as with An Afghan of Their Own....however, things are slowly getting back into the swing of things!

Our new look is compliments of Poppies Blooming and she did an amazing job! Stay tuned for an afghan give away the two of us have come up with! She was awesome to work with and never got tired of my requested alterations, etc!

We should receive pictures today from the afghan's visit with Koby and his family!

I have afghans ready to ship for Benjamin A. and Kaden H. I will get those out in the mail by the end of the week!

I had to take a small break from hooking (aka crocheting) due to moving. Working full time and taking care of two kids, a beagle and a cat are full time jobs, so the unpacking and cleaning have gone slower than I anticipated.

However, I will be back in the full swing of things this weekend and apologize for the brief delay in all thing Traveling Afghan related. Kids come first, we all know that...and they need a clean and organized home (not to mention what it does for their mother's sanity!)

Other than that, things are moving forward. I am sorry I allowed things to slow down for a bit, but family life comes first and I needed to prioritize some things! Now, full speed ahead, once again!
